Marcia Harvey

Marcia Harvey is an African American author. She is well-known as the ex-wife to the comedian Steve Harvey. She has decided to stay far from the eyes of the media, she lives an extremely private life. Steve had never achieved the same success as the one he is now, however they were married 14 years ago. The reasons behind the couple's split weren't known, and there have been rumors of it being heard throughout Hollywood. Some blame it on Steve Harvey's habit of cheating and others attribute it to his decision to pursue to pursue a different path in life, such as comedy. The tragedy of her life can be traced back to the incident that Steve quit her and his two daughters when she was expecting their third baby. The kindness of her character has been a source of inspiration to her children. Marcia Harvey was raised in an African American family and is not well-off. Her first job was in the department store "Saks Fifth Avenue". She became acquainted with Steve after a while at a reception for a mutual friend's party. They were very close and married in the year 1980. The couple had twin girls in 1982, while Steve worked as an insurance salesman. Steve began to be dissatisfied at his job and made the decision to pursue a job in the field of entertainment. He wanted to become comedian stand-up. This resulted in a lot conflict between him and Marcia and later reports suggested that they were beginning to break up by the year 1990. Much of Marcia Harvey's fame stemmed from her marriage and divorce to Steve Harvey. Marcia eventually filed for divorce in 1993. Marcia had to go to the law after her divorce as well as Steve Harvey's rejection of the child support and alimony payment.
